Animated Background

This tutorial was written for PSP 7 but can be used in other versions. For this tutorial I am using the the following:

• Designs 2 dingfont from Sassy Graphics which you can download here. however you can use any ding font, selection or tube.
• Quick Tile filter from Simple Filters which you can download here.
• Super Blade Pro. You can download a free demo version here. I am using some of my own SBP presets which you will find here.

Open a new image 100x110 pixels, white. Flood fill with the color, gradient, or pattern of your choice. I am using a gold background #DECE9C. Add your font at 85 pt., white, standard text. Keep selected, apply your SBP effect, Effects-> Noise-> Add 20%, uniform. Deselect. Effects-> Plugin-Filters-> Simple->Quick Tile. Save as image 1. Now go to Edit-> undo Quick Tile, undo select none. Once again add Noise but this time at 30%. Deselect and reapply the Quick Tile filter. Save as Image 2. Again, go to Edit-> undo Quick Tile, undo select none. Add Noise this time at 40%. Deselect. Apply the Quick Tile filter. Save as Image 3. You should have three images shown below.

Run Animation Shop, File-> Animation Wizard. Set speed at 10. Add your three images, finish. This is your animated background.
