Making a Desktop calendar

This is what we'll be creating, image has been resized.

You will need my calendar tube which you can download here and my Super Blade Pro wood preset here.

You can use these tiles, right click and save to your own computer.

Open a new image, 800x600, transparent. Flood fill with the dots background. Open the calendar tube and copy and paste as a new layer. Layers merge. Selections -> select all -> contract by 50 pixels. Invert. Flood fill with the plaid background and while still selected add a drop shadow with these settings: Offset v=-1, h=1,Attributes opacity 91, blur 3.7, add another drop shadow Offset v=1, h=-1,Attributes opacity 91, blur 3.7, deselect.

Go to Selection -> select all, contract by 20 pixels, invert, flood fill with color white and apply the Super Blade Pro wood preset. Deselect. Now your calendar is finished, just add your text. I used font Circlet and color=#C58397.
